Ethiopis-Israel a non-denominational network based in Ethiopia in partnership with Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) and on behalf of Christian sons and daughters in Zimbabwe will this Friday be honoring church leaders for the work they have done over the years.
The event which is under the theme “Unity and Accountability” the organizers will honor a total of 30 church leaders at the Tabernacle of Grace opposite Harare Gardens in the Capital.
Among those to be honored are Apostolic Faith Mission Zimbabwe President Aspher Madziyire, Zaoga FIF Founder Ezekiel Guti and leader of Jabula New Life Ministries International Tudor Bismarck, Ambassadors for Christ International leader Abel Sande as well as Tom Deuschle of Celebration Ministries International.
Speaking on behalf of the facilitators Greaterlife Embassy Founder Apostle Try Immanuel said “It has never happened in Zimbabwe that these generals gather in the same place on a single. Secondly, they have never been honored as a group for the great work that they have done for all these years.”
“So what we want is for them to know we acknowledge the great work they have done. We want to create synergies between the fathers and sons so that there is no gap. It is not the duty of the father to look for his son. The father doesn’t impose himself on the son. It is the duty of the son to look for his father and owner him so that the father then responds s by correction, mentorship and direction.”
In a statement released in the run up to the event, Ethiopis-Israel and EFZ said the sons and daughters of the church in Zimbabwe organized the “grand event to honour the church fathers and mothers in Zimbabwe. This event will also be witnessed by church leaders from various denominations in the nation.”
Ethiopis-Israel network president Altaye Tesfaye Asegid said of the event: “It also brings order in the kingdom of God. Not only in the Kingdom of God but also in the society. Where there is honor there is glory. Where there is no honor there is dishonor.
Quoting from John 17 verse 21 which says “that all of them maybe one, Father, as you are in me and am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me”. Asegid added that honor was an important aspect in human life.
