Addressing thousands of MDC Alliance, the student movement said that If ZEC does not disclose the information they will continue to demonstrate until their wishes are granted.

“Chigumba and company should know that if we are not granted our wishes we will demonstrate everyday until they respond” Madida said.

He went further to state that the issue raised by Chamisa is not an MDC issue only but is a national issue.

MDC Alliance had earlier raised an issue that they want an analyzable voter roll. ZINASU accuse ZEC of being controlled by Zanu PF and it is playing an uneven ground.

The students union is a founding member of the MDC in 1999, where the Incumbent Nelson Chamisa was a Secretary general.

Asked on why ZINASU was demonstrating yet they are not a political students movement, Madida said, “students are affected by national politics, its high time we act not being cheerleaders.”

“We are not supporting any candidate we also have students supporting Zanu PF in ZINASU so we represent everyone” Madida said.

Despite ZINASU being a non-partisan students union, it is always found attending MDC rallies and they are given a platform to speak with other Alliance partners.

Recently MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa in Marondera accused ZEC of being controlled by the Military. Chamisa also claimed that he was informed by insiders that the ballot paper was printed in Russia.

Also present at the march was Evan mawarire of #ThisFlag movement and Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Union (ZCTU).
