Binga- Construction tarred roads in Binga North is nearly complete according to MDC-T legislator for Binga North, Prince Dubeko.
Dubeko addressed students from Harare Polytechnic Dubeko in Harare.
“For a big community like Binga this is not enough we must have more roads and bridges.”
“Tonga people are marginalized people not the minority, road network development in the 80s only ended in Mashonaland and the Midlands province”.
The road project which started in is set to be finalised after elections.
Binga is a remote area located just south of Lake Kariba.
Recently President Mnangangwa reportedly expressed discontent to George Charamba, the permanent Secretary of Information and Broadcast Services, over radio signals in Binga.
Binga enjoys radio signals from neighbouring Zambia and local signals are hardly available.
