Elections: Zanu PF takes big step

Harare – President Emmerson Mnangagwa took a major political turn around when he met the white community over the weekend.

Mnangagwa promised the disenfranchised white community that his government will ensure property and land rights.

“I met farmers and I assured them that they should feel secure and invest because of the 99-year lease”

He admitted that the land invasion disrupted the economy and led to food insecurity.

According to the Daily News Mnangangwa told those in attendance that the task ahead for Zimbabwe was to make the land productive again.

His government has since invited countries to invest in Zimbabwe and he has declared that Zimbabwe is Open for business.

In January Vice President Chiwenga also met the Indian Community and Munangangwa met with leaders of faith based organisations, including the Islamic groups.
